Galleria Fort Lauderdale’s “Summer Art Show” Call to Artists
As many as 50+ professional artists are invited to be part of Galleria Fort Lauderdale’s Summer Art Show on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday, July 27.
The works of art will be displayed throughout the entire mall, and can include but are not limited to photography, painting, drawing, paper art, fiber art, wood, clay, metal, glass, sculpture or mixed media.
Eligibility
This effort is open to established and emerging professional artists to display or sell art. Seeking a selection of 2D and 3D art that will fill approximately an 8’ x 8’ space. Accepted artists are responsible for providing the necessary materials to professionally display their art. Final number of artists accepted is based on limited available space- first come, first serve of submitted art.
The work must be appropriate for all ages and contain no nudity, vulgarity, partisan or offensive content. Artists must be over 21 years of age to participate.
Display
SPECIFICATIONS
All displayed art must be framed and ready to hang. Sculptures must be able to stand freely or be provided with an appropriate base. Artists are to provide all hanging walls and other display elements. Electricity is not available. It is required to have the representative in the designated area at all time. You are responsible for your own point of sale- to accept cash, check or credit card payments.
ART SELECTION
Artists must submit one work of art that they have personally created for consideration of an assigned 8’ x 8’ space. Submit samples of the artwork with a brief description (name, title, dimension and media) and artist’s information via the registration form. Images must be less than 10MB. The Summer Art Show committee has final decision on acceptance of artists. Upon confirmation of selection, artists will receive further event details.
Entry Fee
A $75 non-refundable entry fee will be required upon confirmation of selection in the Summer Art Show. Methods of payment, due in advance of the art show, are PayPal, Zelle, and check.
DEADLINES TO KNOW
- Registration form due on July 3, 2025, by 5 p.m.
- Acceptance notification: Tuesday, July 8, 2025
- Booth setup: Saturday, July 26, 8 a.m.
- Booth closing: Sunday, July 27, 5 p.m.
SUMMER ART SHOW PROMOTION
This event will be promoted through eblasts to Galleria Fort Lauderdale’s subscribers, via social media posts to the mall’s followers and boosted ads, through traditional public relations with calendar postings, mall digital display board ads and more.

Original artwork submissions can include photography, painting, drawing, print making, paper art, fiber art, wood, clay, metal, glass, sculpture or mixed media.
Deadline for artist's submissions is Thursday, July 3, 2025, 5 p.m.
Galleria Fort Lauderdale is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged art. It is recommended that you insure your work in the event of any unfortunate circumstance.
Submitting a request to participate does not guarantee placement in the exhibition. Selected artists will be notified of their inclusion by Tuesday, July 8, 2025.
